Just wanted to pass on a precious truth I read this week:
Our confidence in adversity does not rest in our ability to find God - it rests in God's inability to lose us.
But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. Job 23:10
This is so encouraging! It is in adversity that God shows Himself so much more clearly it seems. Sadly, this is often because it takes adversity to get me to realize how on my own I am nothing and can do nothing. In reality, all I am and do are God in me.
